My Little Pumpkin

I had every intention of blogging last week, but we just had so much fun having Daddy home with us all week that blogging was last on the priority list.  It was so nice having an extra set of hands around the house to help with the baby during the week.  I actually got caught up on some housework!  Of course, the week flew by and Daddy had to return to the real world this week.  Bummer.

The highlight of our week was the Pumpkin Patch!  How original, right?!  I know you have probably read about 27 posts on Pumpkin Patches, but this is our first year with a kid to completely annoy with festive photos, so let me have my run.

The timing couldn't have been more perfect!  We had a cold front run through ... and by cold front, I mean it was 75 and Sunny ... welcome to Florida cold fronts.  With perfect weather and a baby with a full tummy, we loaded up the Grandmothers and headed to our local Pumpkin Patch. Mykenzi was a champ with being passed around and enduring photo after photo ... after about what felt like 100 pictures, it was picture 101 that sent her over the edge. Whoops.  A fussy baby, some tuckered-out Grannies, and a giant pumpkin later ... our day at the pumpkin patch came to an end.  I'm so happy we got some great photos to document Mykenzi's first Halloween.

Sorry this post isn't more riveting ... but let's be honest, you aren't here to read on and on about the pumpkin patch.  You just want to see the pictures ... I don't blame you.

Stay tuned, I have some big plans for our pumpkin ... the orange one and the fussy one. #seewhatIdidthere
