Sweet Abby's Auction

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is connecting with people.  It's even more rewarding when I get to connect with people sharing a meaningful message.  When Tori reached out to me about Sweet Abby's Auction, it instantly knew it was something I wanted to help with.

This is the Denton Family.  The sweet little girl in the pink hoodie is Abigail or Abby for short.  Abigail was only 4 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April of this year.  A pretty strong diagnosis for a 4 year old.  She's endured two long hospital stays and has battled a bout of Pneumonia.  The family will travel 2-3 hours one way to Abigail's appointments, which sometimes can be more than once a week.  Abigail is wise beyond her 4 short years.  She can tell you what cancer is, she can explain her diagnosis, and how her treatment plan works.  She can even draw her own blood.  That girl has got me beat! I'm almost 32 and still cringe and cry getting a shot.

Abigail is a few weeks shy of her 5th Birthday, and with everything going on, she understands that she will not be able to have a birthday party to celebrate because of her cancer.  This broke my heart when I heard that she was understanding as to why she couldn't have a party.  With all the traveling, appointments, and recently a rough bout of Chemo, things have been emotionally challenging for the entire family.

In efforts to help the Dentons, fellow Mom Blogger Tori, has decided to create and Auction via Instagram to raise money for the Denton Family.  @SweetAbbysAuction will begin Friday October 23rd at 9AM EST and run through Saturday October 24th ending at 6PM EST.  Tori has hustled to gather some great shops who have donated some amazing items for this auction.

Don't forget to follow along, score some great items, all while helping the sweetest family.  Share with your friends, share with your family, let's rally together and bring some sunshine to the Dentons!
