The Farm Life

Florida makes it really hard to enjoy fall things.  There's nothing like sipping a Pumpkin Spice Latte and going to the Pumpkin Patch in 85 Degree weather, but that's just what we did.  While it was a tad on the warm side, it's far better than the 100 degree weeks we've seen.  This weekend we loaded up the babe and Grandmothers, and headed North to Holland Farms. Holland Farms is a local farm that hosts the public during the Fall to enjoy their Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and the best Boiled Peanuts around.

This was our first year attending Holland Farms, but I'm excited to make it a yearly tradition.  Mykenzi had a blast, if you didn't know any better you'd think she was raised on a farm.  She loved it!  My husband's side of the family is full of Farmers, so she gets it honest.  I can't wait until next year when she'll get to enjoy more of the activities they offer.  We picked pumpkins, enjoyed a hayride,  frolicked in Sunflowers, got lost in a corn maze (thanks to a husband who insisted he knew where he was going. Insert eye roll emoji.) and we even played in sea of corn kernels.  It was a good time had by all.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

We were all tuckered out by the end of the day and I'm fairly certain we all slept like rocks. Winning!
