I know one day I'm going to have to learn to suck it up because Mykenzi is going to want to go trick or treating like her friends, but until she can fully comprehend that event, I'm pushing it off as long as I can.
While I may be Anti-Ween, that didn't stop me from stalking all of your super cute blog posts and Instagram's of your adorable Tots in costumes! It almost made me want to torture Mykenzi by putting her in the most obnoxious costume I could find, but I refrained. Instead, we dropped our little lady with Grandma and high-tailed out of there for a low key date night. #Hallo-WIN!
October was kind of a rut month, my creative juices just don't vibe with Halloween so my writing took the hit. Now that Christmas isn't so taboo to talk about my I might be able to muster up more than one post a week. Don't worry, I won't skip over Thanksgiving because food. I mean, I truly have so much to be thankful for and I cannot wait to see all of our family ... but let's be real, FOOD!
And because no post is complete with out a picture ... Here is as Halloweeny as it got around here.
Ha! Anti ween but Hallo win! Halloween used to my absolute favorite night to go to Target. It was empty - and empty of children! Not gonna lie I slightly missed it this year but the costume was too fun (although I am glad I just bought a basic Carters one!)
ReplyDeleteI hate scary too; although, I love scaring my husband, like hiding around corners and yelling boo scare, nothing with gore. And now Nat does it too which is adorable :) Halloween gets to be fun, I promise! It was so sweet when Nat was pulling my hand down the street yelling "this is so fun!" However, she has not {willingly} taken off her Princess Sofia amulet since Saturday afternoon.
