Review: SnoofyBee

One of my favorite parts about blogging is it allows me to connect with companies I otherwise would have never known existed.  Some big, some small, but they all have served a purpose on this wild road of Motherhood and I'm so thankful for each and every company that trusts me to review their products.

Early Fall I was contacted by gentleman named Michael in regards to a product that was in pre-production and was wondering if it was something that I could use and would be interested in trying. That's when I was introduced to SnoofyBee, as if the name doesn't intrigue you enough, the SnoofyBee is a portable, clean hands changing pad.  If Michael had contacted me any earlier, I just might have turned him down, but he came to me at a time where diaper changes were like running a marathon.  Getting my child to lay on her back and stay there was an act of Congress, and keeping those little hands out of the danger zone was impossible.  I can't tell you how many toys, fingers, and clothes fell victim to a routine diaper change.  I knew something had to change or there just had to be a better way, but how?!  I kid you not, days later that's when Michael's email popped up in my inbox and I jumped at the chance to try SnoofyBee.

SnoofyBee markets itself as a clean hands changing pad, and it is just that.  It basically wraps the upper half of your child, keeping their flailing arms and curious little fingers above the waistline so Momma (or Dad!) can handle business down stairs.  Clean little hands is just the beginning, it wipes clean. Yes, wipes clean!  What Mom doesn't like anything that can just wipe clean?  Because let's face it, we already have enough laundry to do.  But, just because it wipes clean doesn't mean that it's not machine washable.  You can certainly throw it in the machine on Gentle if you need to.

My favorite features of the SnoofyBee are the loops where you can attach toys to keep those hands busy, the convenient, adjustable carrying handle that can also clip to your diaper bag, and the compact design when it's folded and not in use.  You can even fold your diaper and wipes inside the SnoofyBee when you're on the run for a quick, convenient change.

As a first time Mom I probably wouldn't have thought twice about this product during pregnancy, but now that I've got about 16 months under my belt and have wrangled my fair share of diaper changes without a SnoofyBee, I will be recommending this to all my new Mommy friends.  And to my old Mommy friends, if you're struggling with hands during your diaper changes you'll want to look into ordering one too!

There is plenty of poop wearing in Motherhood, if there's a product that can minimize that even just a little, hey, I'm all for it!  Thank you SnoofyBee for allowing us to review your product, this will definitely be an essential in our diaper bag!

Order your SnoofyBee here!

And a special round of applause for my SnoofyBee Model who saves me from diaper changes on the daily, my husband.  He's not really a photographer, so model it is! Thanks babe!  All my blog posts wouldn't be possible without you!

  2. This is a much more appopriate thing for Sophie to play with, we usually let her play with the wipes to which she pulls one out and wipes her hands (which we do all the time after a meal or she's been into something) and throws the wipe on the floor and so on until we're done with diaper changing. I think that's the highlight of her day. Although when Sophie was about 20 months old, she refused to lay still and wanted to roll right off the changing table, that was a very trying time for all parties involved, thank goodness she snapped out of that habit after a month.
