Review: Wee-Rascals

I think we can all agree that a good graphic tee is a staple in any wardrobe.  They are so easy to dress up or dress down.  I love to take a simple graphic tee and mix it with prints and colors to create a fun, unique outfit.  Since I'm a Mom and yoga pants hardly leave my hiney these days, the only fun outfit making I do is for my daughter.  So, what's better than a graphic tee? A graphic tee fit for a toddler!

When Wee-Rascals contacted me to collaborate with them, I was ecstatic.  They have the cutest graphic tees around, and the best part?  They feature real life heroes.  Wee-Rascals was founded by two Moms, Kylie and Liz, and like many of us, they were tired of seeing Princess Sparkle Puff and Super/Ant/Hulk/Bat Man on t-shirts.  They created a line that represents true heroes, people who inspired history and paved the way for the country we live in today.

They have so many great shirts to choose from and heroes for both boys and girls.  I love that these shirts can turn into a conversation piece, as well as, a teachable moment for kids.  All it takes is, "Who's on your shirt?" to open that door to history and this country's heroes.  Not to mention, it allows us as parents to teach our children what a true hero is.

For Mykenzi, I chose the Albert Einstein, "It's hip to be E=MC2" shirt in the raglan style.  I'm a sucker for raglan tees, but I chose good ole Albert because I feel like he could pin point the "why" in things which is how he developed the theory of relativity.  If there is one thing Mykenzi does, she figures out "why" anything does something.  She's has such an exploratory soul and is constantly thinking about how things around her work and why they work the way they do.  Also, Albert's famous equation measures the amount of energy contained in a mass, and well, Mykenzi is my little mass full of energy!

In addition to great heroes, Wee-Rascals also brings you a quality product.  I bought my shirt a size too big with the intent to shrink it.  I put that bad boy through the ringer to make sure it shrunk up just a bit.  When I pulled it out of the dryer, not only was it still in tact, but seams weren't all wonky and the fabric was just as soft as it was when I pulled it out of the package.  Not something all your Big Box stores can claim with their clothing.

As I leave you with this awesome company, I have a few surprises left.  On Thursday I'll be taking over Wee-Rascals' Blog as their guest blogger for the day.  It's an entirely new post you won't want to miss, so you'll have to check it out.  Also, all you "Fierce like Frida" Mommas can snag your very own tee because they offer this one in adults sizes! AND, if you check back on my Insta at 5pm CST, Wee-Rascals has been nice enough to let me give away a $25 shop credit to their shop! I know, I know, you're welcome!
