I know, I know, seems all I blog about these days are bumpdates. Don't you worry. I've got some exciting things coming up and I even have a Giveaway going on this week that is totally unrelated to any bumps or dates. You're welcome.
This week was one of those weeks that could go missing from this year and I wouldn't mind a bit. My sore throat turned into a full blown sinus infection that left me miserable. This kid in utero is seriously kicking my A-double-S and I'm not sure how much more this Momma can take. Well, I take that back ... Momma has to take about 5 more months of whatever this kid dishes out. I just hope he decides to get a little nicer in the next 5 months.
How far along? 17 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain? After 2 Doctor visits this week, both have confirmed I've gain another pound so I'm up a total of 5lbs.
Maternity clothes? No, but sadly on my last pair of jeans and things are starting to get real snug.
Stretch marks? Not yet, I'm actually loving using coconut oil this time around.
Sleep? Sleep has been okay.
PEAK of the week? There was a huge peak to the week, but you'll have to scroll down to movement to find out what.
PIT of the week? Being sick. Being pregnant, sick, and a Toddler Mom all at the same time is rough.
Big Sister? She's doing great and almost 18 months old! I can't even believe we are days away from halfway to 2!
Daddy? He deserves more gold stars because in the midst of me being sick he's let me sleep as much as possible to knock it. I've got a good one, I tell ya.
Miss anything? I could actually go for a Bloody Mary, but I suppose I'll wait about 5 more months for that.
Movement? So while nothing has been crazy in this department I started to get really worried. By now, I was feeling Mykenzi do gymnastics in my belly and I've hardly felt anything from this little guy. I posted in one of my Momma Groups about lack of movement and they all reassured me that it would come. As I laid down last night I felt the lightest little taps in my belly. They fluttered around for about thirty minutes and I was so relieved, it was if Baby Boy knew I was worried and was saying, "Momma, I'm still here." Just what I needed! I can't wait til they get big enough to share with Daddy and Big Sister.
Food cravings? I think Lenny's Chicken Philly Subs are going to be a permanent staple in this pregnancy. Candy/Sweets as always, and lately I've had a thing for Carrots, Tomatoes and Ranch.
Anything making you feel sick or queasy? I did get quite nauseous this week, but it was only due to all the mucus and post nasal drip this sinus infection invited over.
Gender? They say blue! Can't wait to confirm in a few weeks.
Symptoms? I want to eat everything! Round ligament pain has been pretty rough this week, and sense of smell.
Belly button in or out? Flat.
Happy or moody? Despite being sick, mood swings are still at a minimum.

You are too cute and look fantastic! Love that top!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you were sick! And isn't movement the best? I just love those little flutters. I didn't feel Avery until 22 weeks (I had anterior placenta with her and again with this babe), but I was so excited to feel movement much earlier with this one!
