When thredUP popped up in my email and wanted to get together for a style post, I couldn't think of a company that better suited my shopping taste. Today, I'm telling you just how you can score an amazing Spring Wardrobe at an even more amazing price with thredUP.
thredUP is the largest online consignment shop that allows you to snag like-new designer brands for up to 90% off retail. Just so you can see how amazing their prices are, I'm sharing every price from the pieces I scored from thredUP. In addition to offering designer fashion at your fingertips, they also allow you to clean out your own closet and make a little moo-lah off your own designer brands that are currently collecting dust sitting in your closet. Read all about their clean out program here.
My Spring Style taste is very minimal. I like pieces that aren't too hot because hello, Florida! I also like pieces that can be easily dressed up or down. I can't tell you how many times you go from walking the Harbor to dining at a nice restaurant, and I always want a look that can encompass both. With being pregnant through the Spring, my style is even more simple. The looser the fabric, the better. My short stature and thin frame make buying maternity hard, so I've had to get creative both pregnancies and find a way to make my regular wardrobe support a growing bump. I'll share my tips on that another day, but rest assured it can easily be done!
My first look features three thredUP pieces, none are maternity. I paired this beautiful Chiffon Slouch H&M Blouse I scored for $11.99 with my go to brand for denim. I got these Abercrombie & Fitch Denim Frayed shorts for $13.49. Yes, $13!! You'll pay that for just the button of the shorts in store. I topped the outfit off with a Gold Sandal. I'm super obsessed with Gold accessories, so when these Coach Sandals popped up I knew they had to be mine! These have to be my favorite find because for well over $100 new, I feel like I basically stole them at $39. The best part? thredUP verified authenticity and they were basically brand new when I got them, hardly any wear on these babies. #winning
This top is light and airy with just enough coverage to let you know I have a bump, but also enough slack to not form fit to show exactly how big that bump is getting. For the denim, I just sized up from my normal sizing and they fit like a glove. I'm super excited that I'll be able to wear both of these pieces postpartum as well. Looking great during pregnancy is one thing, but postpartum it's such a mood booster to not feel stuffed in an outfit and looking fabulous after having a baby. And can we just take a moment to adore these sandals? I probably won't wear any other shoe this season.
My next look is probably the most comfortable. It's another favorite piece and I see it getting a lot of wear especially as this bump of mine gets bigger. It's a knit Gap Maxi that was another steal at $14.99. Dresses like this are key for Spring! Whether your are pregnant or just like to be comfortable. They require basically no effort to look great! I dressed mine up a bit with wedges, but it can also easily be dressed down with pair of flops or casual sandal. So versatile! Add a necklace for a splash of color and you my friend, have just dressed yourself for a Spring day that can go from day to night.
I almost forgot my favorite part of this dress! Who doesn't love a dress with pockets?! The wedges that are pictured are my own, but I did see them while browsing the thredUP site and they actually had these same wedges for $8! Also, a photoshoot isn't complete without a tiny little photo bomber!
Intrigued yet? Well, you should be! thredUP is amazing, but don't take my word for it, check them out for yourself. You can even do it from the comfort of your own phone! Yep, easy fingertip access with their user friendly app! Download it today! You'll find great finds for Women, Kids, Babies, Shoes, and even Accessories. Just to give you an idea, I saved $276.04 on my order off of retail with my thredUP pieces, that's 78% off! So worth it!
