Can't Live Without It

I knew it was too good to be true.  I thought I really had my ish together this week.  I blogged three times, four including this post, which is unheard of for me.  I got my Can't Live Without It post all together, set it to automatically publish for this morning, and got up to a non-published post.  YourS truly, hit save not publish. Doh.

It's Friday! That can only mean two things:  The weekend is here, and time for another edition of Can't Live Without It with Laura, Stephanie, and Cait.  Does it get any better?

This week's Can't Live Without It post is for all you make up lovers out there.  I'm a creature of habit when it comes to make up.  I know what I like and I stick with it.  I often try to step out of my make up comfort zone and end up hating the product which leaves me with a full size of something I'll never use again and a hole in my bank account.  Then, I found Ipsy.

What is Ipsy, you ask?

Ipsy is a lot like Birchbox but better in my opinion.  It's a monthly subscription of make up.  It's $10 a month and you receive 5 beauty products in a cute little make up bag they call your Glam Bag.  You take a beauty quiz that tailors your glam bag to you.  You can even pick the brands that you'd love to receive and prefer not to receive.

Like, the Research Maniac that I am ... I of course did tons and tons of research before deciding on Ipsy.  I chose to go with Ipsy over Birchbox and other monthly make up subscriptions because they often send you full sized products rather than sample sizes.  For instance, I got this amazing Eye Pencil from Urban Decay in my August 2014 bag and I've barely made a dent in it because they sent it full size.  I also found my new favorite Mascara by receiving this bag, which will be another Can't Live Without It post for another day.  It's my favorite $10 to spend each month and so worth it.  They also send you coupons with your Glam Bag, so say you get an eye shadow you fall in love with ... lucky you because they'll give you 20% off if you buy it through your Ipsy account.  New Make Up and a Discount? Here is my Glam Bag for this Month:  I received an eye shadow which I'm loving.  I got a nail polish, which I haven't tried yet.  A blush, concealer brush, and a dry shampoo all of which I'm currently crushing on.

Have I sold you yet?  This July will mark 2 years since I've been receiving my Ipsy bag and I've maybe received a handful of products I haven't cared for.  That's the beauty of your Glam Quiz, you rarely get products you don't like, and you can re-take it as many times as you want.  Also, each month it allows you to review your products, so if you really don't like something, review it, and they won't send you things like that again.
