So, with that in mind, I thought I'd combine two great link ups for today's post. I'm calling it Can't Live Without It: 5 TV Things edition. I've conjured up my top 5 shows at this very moment that I'm indulging in and shared my two cents. You know, because my opinion is everything. Some are reality junk and others scripted feel goods. Either way they are on my WATCH list and I'd love to hear if you're watching them too!
1. The Bachelorette:
I don't know about you, but I was rooting for Kaitlyn over Britt for the Bachelorette. I'm really enjoying her season, but boy does she have a lot of man drama. I don't ever want to hear another man talk about how dramatic women are because of these guys, wow. While I'm haven't quite figured out if Nick's intentions are pure or not, his and Kaitlyn's chemistry is undeniable and some part of me is rooting for him. The other part of me is rooting for Shawn, Jared, Chris, and Ben H. I just can't decide, she's got a lot of good men this season. I'm highly disappointed in Josh. I was rooting For him but all his complaining on Nick is a real turn off and the drama he stirred up on the last group date was a real buzz kill. And last, let's talk about Ian. Talk about sitting on a high horse, that guy is an arrogant piece of work. I'm glad he's making an exit. He's a douche.
2. Odd Mom Out:
I'm loving this show. I often relate to Jill because I'm quirky, loud, and sarcastic except I would fully embrace highlights and shades of pink at the spa. It's funny and charming. It's a great download at night show to get a little giggle before bed. I love that it pokes fun at the different styles of Motherhood and I think most of us can relate to Jill's unconventional ways. Oh, and I'm totally having underwear dance parties with Mykenzi.
3. Real Housewives of Orange County:
I won't lie to you. I watch all seasons of RH, but the OC is where the addiction began. Over the years I've grown tiresome of Vicki but maybe this is the year I come around. Who knows? It's still too early to tell. Her Boyfriend Brooks has been diagnosed with Cancer and is supposedly starting his 3rd round of chemo. The rumor mill is that he's lying about it. I don't like Brooks whatsoever but I would hope that he isn't lying about such a terrible disease that so many suffer from. I'm no Doctor but I've been around people suffering with this disease and after the first round of chemo they've lost their hair and look very sick. Brooks looks as healthy as a horse and is still sporting a full head of hair. I don't know folks, seems kinda fishy to me. I can always count on the housewives to bring me my weekly dose of drama, so we'll see how this all pans out.
4. Million Dollar Listing San Francisco:
We watch all the Million Dollar Listings, so of course I will be watching this one. It's a cutthroat business and I love the anxiety of whether or not they'll get the deal. I'm not cut out for a business like that, so it's fun to watch someone else do it. Plus, the properties they show are amazing! We'll see what these new brokers bring to the table. I'm sure we are in for another round of ego overload! Can't wait.
5. The Astronaut Wives Club
I went back and forth on whether or not to watch this. I've decided that I needed to level out my reality TV binge with a good show that makes you feel feelings. And we'll, the first episode did not disappoint. It's truly amazing to see how far women have come since the 50's/60's and how much more of a voice we really have. I'm only one show in because it just started but I suspect there are a lot of tears in my future. I never did the Army Wives because I knew I couldn't handle the emotional roller coaster, so I'm hoping I'm not too in over my head with this one.
Are you highly addicted to these shows too? Tell me, what are you watching?
I'm joining Laura, Cait, and Steph for Can't Live Without It, as well as, April, Darci, Christina, and Natasha for 5 on Friday.
I have debated trying out the Astronauts Wives Club..you may have sold me!
ReplyDeleteOhh I love me some TV - especially gulp - Teen Mom!! I am looking forward to Million Dollar Listing SF since this is where I live! Now I can just get even more mad at how insane our home prices are here!
ReplyDeleteI recently started watching Southern Charm and I am loving it! Have you seen it?
ReplyDeleteLove TV, definitely could not live without it!! Growing up, our TV was always on so to me TV watching aint no thing but I do still monitor the littles time. The Bachelorette is one of my faves too but this season is a little much for me, I think most of the guys suck and there is way too much annoying drama. I need to watch Odd Mom Out!
ReplyDeleteWhere have I been? I have not heard of any one of these shows! Are any of these on netflix? I'm going to guess I'd love watching the housewives one.

I want to watch Astronaut Wives Club! So many people have been raving about it! I have been binge watching Southern Charm lately and I love it.
ReplyDeleteOf all these shows I'm only into the Bachelorette, but now I so want in on the Astronaut Wives Club! While I was pregnant I got a Netflix subscription and I've watched all of the seasons of Grey's Anatomy sitting on the couch breastfeeding my little piglet! {there may or may not be 11 seasons...} :\ I totally get the screen addiction!
