Project Nursery: Completed

Uh, its about time, right?!  I kept feeling like the worst blogger on the planet by constantly promising a Nursery post and then it was nowhere to be found.  To be fair, if it wasn't one thing it was another ... moving at 32 weeks pregnant (I don't recommend, btw.), things being back-ordered, Fed Ex losing my packages, and well, there was that thing called labor that totally threw a wrench in things. I'm totally convinced the only reason I still have a blogger following is because you all are waiting for this post that I promised 42 posts ago ... like you don't have anything else going on in your lives but waiting for this post, right?!  We'll just let  me keep thinking that, ok?  So here it is ... the post I know you all are dying to see.  The Nursery.

My vision for the Nursery was to create a bright, crisp, yet dainty space.  I didn't want anything to "little girlish" so I pieced together everything on my own.  I wanted this space to grow with Mykenzi as she grew into toddlerhood.  The first thing I found was the Gold Dot Sheets from The Land of Nod.  If  you haven't been to their website you should probably drop everything and go ... now.  They have the cutest bedding for Baby and Toddlers.  It's a good thing I'm broke already because I definitely would've drained the bank on their website.  Totally sold on the Gold Dots, I wanted a splash of color that played well with Gold and wasn't traditional pink ... and alas, that's how Coral was born.  Throw in a Monogram the size of Texas, some DIY projects, and a crib ... and Boom!  I had a Nursery.

The only thing that is missing is my Glider that is currently sitting in my garage awaiting paint.  There was no way I could push this post off anymore waiting the finish of that ... well, because if we're being honest, who the heck knows when that'll get finished.  Thankfully, I have a rocking recliner in the living room so I can still Rock a Bye Baby.
