One. Facebook Resell Groups
So, our local area has a Facebook Resell group call the Secondhand Sisterhood, its obviously only ladies, but everyone offers random things for sale or something they are ISO (in search of). I'm not even sure how I became a member of this group, but if I don't start learning how to curb my SOLD comments, my husband just might make me renounce my membership. I've managed to get some major steals on this group though. We got a new 46" TV for $200 that was pricing at $550 new. They were moving and needed it gone! I was happy to take it off their hands. I also snagged a Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller in Pink which I'm super obsessed with. It seriously rolls like a dream. It came with the bassinet and regular chair portion and a whole bunch of accessories. These things are $1,500 new ... Yes, you read that right. $1,500. I got it for a fraction of that price. Obbb-sessed. I find myself going anywhere just so I can use the stroller.
Two. WAHM
I'm officially a Working at Home Mom. Not something I intended doing, but this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I'm working for a local Realtor, managing her Social Media platforms. I design and create ads for her listings and advertise them on Social Media. I've been doing it a few weeks and so far its proven to be fun, and fits right in my schedule. Also, a little extra income never hurt anybody. Got to pay for that Secondhand Sisterhood addiction somehow, right?
Is anybody else as excited as I am for Fall TV? My DVR is filling up with my favorite Fall shows. It's so nice to flop on the couch after the baby has gone to bed and overload on great TV. I think I'm most excited for Nashville. I haven't watched the premiere yet, but the season finale left me in tears. This will also help occupy my TV craving while I wait for Ben H's season of the Bachelor because January is just so.far.away.
Y'all, ever since Mykenzi has solely relied on solid foods to survive this Momma has been struggling. At our 12 month well our Pediatrician said her appetite will probably slow which is normal for kids her age. Once we cut the bottles, I swear this kid's appetite sky rocketed. I can't keep enough fruit, veggies, and chunkable food in the house. I've been pinteresting ideas but I'm failing miserably. My kid of course doesn't like pancakes or waffles. That may be partially due to the fact that her womb service ordered Blueberry Waffles for an entire 9 months. Sorry, kid. We also recently ventured into whole grain Goldfish, but she chews them up and then smears then in my carpet like paint. Either she hates the food, or she's broken. But nonetheless, keeping her full is a full time job and a stressful one at that. Any of my Mommas out there have any food tips for toddlers that hit all the servings they should be getting?
Five. Big Girl Room
And while we are on the subject of Mykenzi and things she should be doing, I ask that you pray for us as we try for the third time to move her into her own room. I know, I know, she's 13 months old she should be in her own room already. In my defense, she is sleeping IN her own crib every night, it's just her crib happens to be on my side of the bed. The first time we tried at 5 months she just was not having it and broke this Momma's heart. The second time, teething happened and I made a decision solely based on sleep deprivation that I was tired of walking down the hall to go get her. I know, hashtag lazy mom. So, this time we are prepared for a little cry it out, but I think we are all tired of the sleeping arrangements and we are all showing signs of needing our own space. Any tips on making the third time a charm are welcome. No tips? Then just pray it's successful or this Momma may lose her mind.
Just sent you a text but stay strong you got this!!
